Like a Lion

For someday the people will follow me. I, the Lord, will roar like a lion. And when I roar, my people will return trembling from the west. Hosea 11:10

Yesterday I shared a song about Jesus coming again. I do believe He’s coming again. Scripture tells of it; I believe it.

An individual left me a comment along the lines that He’s already here. I believe that, too.

You see, Jesus Christ lives within me because I have confessed my sin, acknowledged that He is my Lord and Savior, invited Him into my life, and accepted His gift of salvation. 

And He’s living inside me, roaring like a lion.

He’s not dead. 

He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as Scripture said. 1 Corinthians 15:4

Yes, He passed from life to death. But He rose from that grave! 

Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. John 14:19

We have no reason to be saddened by the death and resurrection of Christ. Through His sacrifice we have an opportunity to not only see Him again, but to live with Him for all eternity! Until that day, He’ll live inside us roaring like a lion!
